MFA | Adding + Editing MFA Methods

1- Head to your MFA account > https://myaccount.microsoft.com

2- Follow log in prompts

3- Select Security on the left side menu

4- Select Add Sign- In Method

5- From drop down menu, select Authenticator App.

6- Walk through the app download and set up steps.

Once you have downloaded the app and have it set up on your phone and as an MFA option, you need to set it as your default MFA.

  1. Under Security Info, locate Default Sign-in Method line
  2. Select Change
  3. From dropdown menu select Micorsoft Authenticator – Notification
  4. Select Confirm

When MFA is required, your prompts will now go through the authenticator app to approve.
